One Great Reason Why You Should Exercise
We are faced with a constant barrage of the perfect body. No wonder many of us feel inadequate, confused and lack self confidence. A lot of us spend our lives not happy with the way we are, constantly criticizing ourselves and comparing ourselves to other women. We deal with our bodies being to fat, thin, tall, round, short, hairy, dimply, veiney and the list goes on and on.
We have surgery done to chance our faces, breasts, noses, bottoms. In some cases surgery is a good thing; it can restore lost confidence if it is for things such as correcting our stomachs if we need it after child birth or varicose veins etc.
The scary thing is if you are considering having cosmetic surgery, what do you do if something goes wrong? The sad truth of it is, not a lot of women love themselves for who they are and continually look on the outside to give them the confidence they are looking for.
One thing which is easy and cheap to give you that confidence is exercise. It is the most important thing you can do for your body.
Many of us don’t find a lot of time to do it, unlike the celebrities who have the personal trainer knocking on the door first thing in the morning, while nanny is giving the kids break fast. We struggle to find the time or don’t have the money for the personal trainer and we have to deal with kids, work, cleaning….
Once you have made a conscious decision you are going to exercise, you will be amazed at how many times in a week you are presented with time to do it.
When you start exercising try and do it at least 3 times a week 4 times would be even better. Eventually you are going to have the body you want and along the way, feeling great about yourself.
If you have been exercising for awhile and feel you are not getting anywhere, be aware you can come to a plateau, just stick at it and you will pass this place, increase your work out if you can, this will help and you will start to see and feel changes.
Weight lifting is fantastic for the body, yet many women feel it will bulk them up. This is not true, as testosterone is an important factor when it comes to muscle shape and women have very low levels of testosterone, so our muscles do not bulk up like men, in fact it actually helps us to tone and have more shape.
Another reason many of us do not exercise, besides not finding the time is being afraid to go into a gym. If there is a local gym you are continually passing on your daily drives, make a point of planting a thought in your head ‘one of these days I will go in there and have a look’.
So, if you are feeling you would like a better body forget about the cosmetic surgery, it is too costly and to dangerous. Start exercising and you will feel happier about yourself and your life.
