Losing weight again after you have previously lost it can be difficult. Gaining the weight back can make you feel like a failure and your self-esteem will also suffer. The best thing to do is forget about the past and start looking towards the future.

Make a plan for what type of eating and exercise program you are going to use this time for losing weight. If you have been down this road before you know pretty well what works for you and what doesn’t. Do your shopping the week before so you will have what you need to get started immediately on your new lifestyle.

Have an alternate plan for exercising in case the weather does not cooperate. I like to have an area at home where I can do as much exercise as I need without having to leave the house. That way I don’t have any excuses for not doing what I said I would do. I also exercise as early in the morning as possible. It is important to do some aerobic exercise for about twenty minutes in the morning before you eat anything. Just drink some water and get started. This will burn more fat than exercising later in the day after you have eaten because you will not have carbohydrates in you system that will burn before the fat does. It makes sense if you think about it.

Enlist the help of your friends and family during this time. Tell them you need for them to be supportive and to assist you in any way that they can. They will be glad to help out.
